JTM Services - Service agent for LG

Contacted this company on the recommendation of LG appliances.
If you are going to use them do check that parts are available for your appliance before you pay their £72.50 call out fee.
Just had an engineer out and the minute he walked through the door he told me parts are no longer available for my washing machine (it's only 7 years old). No chance of a refund of the call out fee. Wouldn't it be nice if they could tell you this before taking your hard earned cash.
The washing machine has been great up to now, but I can't see me rushing out to buy another LG product.
I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.

I'm greedy, I want more lol.

It's been a very good washing machine and I have recommended them to loads of people.

Shame the aftercare isn't as good as the machine.

Aftercare? You called them - they came out and they dont have the parts fro a machine that old.. I dont see a problem with the aftercare as they came inspected told you the problem.

They knew how old the machine was and the model number before they came. And before they took the call out fee.

Although I have had mt Diswasher for 24 years, it still nags occassionally, my Washing Machine is 9 years old, and has been repaired and rebrushed twice by the local repair man.

    Sggest you try the same

Cant be bothered. My last one lasted 8 years so i thought that was good service and bought another.. see no point in keeping old machines working when newer ones are more efficient and better at the job.

But they didn't know it needed parts until they had inspected it, did they?
  • Hi, I have had a bad experience of this company, JTM Contracts. I bought a kettle from Aldi with a 3 yr warranty. After 13 months it stopped working. I was advised to speak to JTM Contracts to obtain a repair or refund. It took over 7 months plus several phone calls to their premium rate 'helpline' and six emails to JTM Contracts before I finally got a refund. I must say that the service I got from JTM Contracts was the worst I have ever experienced. I think they base their business model on the assumption that not many customers would go to the effort for a relatively small appliance and give up. My first contact with them was in February 2010 and I eventually received the cheque from JTM Contracts in September 2010... Be warned.

I have just finished writing a strongly worded letter to Aldi regarding JTM refunds , I had a similar experience to previous posters, having bought a kettle from Aldi (3 year warranty) which blew up literaly after 16 months, I was given the run-around by JTM, who first said they would refund when they received my receipt, then they said it had not arrived, then they said it had arrived, and a cheque would be issued, then when that did not happen, and this after 3 months I contacted Aldi direct, and then I get a phone call from JTM saying I had not sent in the Taurus warranty card. and without it I would not get a refund, and having disposed of it when I was told that all that was needed was the receipt, I was kinda stuck, anyway, to sum up after complaining to Aldi, 1. they are sending me a £25 shopping voucher. 2.JTM are incompetent (or worse), and 3. I will not be buying electtricals from ALDI anymore!!!!! **any warranty is only as good as the warranty provider** , and if that is JTM. !!watch out!! Dave.
