I bought some on the 6th, with the date to display by as the 7th. Opened them last night and they are nearly all mouldy!0

I think that is wrong. Food should be fresh and fit to eat. Mine were bought with the 7th on them and were mouldy and rotten on the day i opened them (7th)
(I bought on the 6th and they looked fine)
How can food go off so quick?0 -

Depends on storage, best to put them straight in the fridge when you get home. That still doesn't guarantee that they have been stored at ideal conditions for their entire trip to the store though.
I always make sure there are a good couple of days on them, and check the punnets thoroughly for signs of damage/bruising that can shorten their life span.We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
