Unfair Redundancy as They are advertising part of my job

Hi Guys,
Hoping someone can help me, Back in July I recieved a proposal to discontinue Engineering at my workplace from 2010 - 2011 a local college and since I was the only Lecturer left my job was at risk of redundancy. I put 2 very viable proposals together to stop this from happening but I was fighting a decision that was made.
a few weeks later I recieved notice of redundancy and to get the money I had to sign a compromise agreement a solicitor signed it and saw no problem, however after I had my money I read back through it and noticed they have me down as working with them since 1986 when my employment began in 1999 but the payout was based on 1999 not 1986 which the agreement states.
Too my horror they advertised for an engineering lecturer to cover 15 hours of my jobrole covering my duties my contract was full time lecturer and when they made a colleague redundant 2 years ago we were made to apply for the only job left which was Programme Leader/Lecturer. I rang them up about the position and was told to apply however the whole thing feels like 1 big set up as I am told on the grapevine when the new principal came he made a dealwith a localcompany to move students to them and work together which I feel is sly but it would of been legal, however this went wrong and pearshaped forcing him to need a lecturer. They advertised 6 weeks after my last day with them.
No one has ever recieved redundancy and gone back to there they have the attitude if you have redundancy thats it, However they will stick to protocol but I never stood a chance and I feel the whole thing is wrong.
Whilst my redundancy was in consultation the college held an awards day for staff, other staff could nominate a memeber of staff for going the extra mile. All staff who had been nominated were read out. Obvioumy own (mine was not), it hurt as I had been covering 13 hours teaching extra for no overtime and still doing my own 37 hours a week. After I left about the time those people would have got their certificates I got one in the post Nominated for going the extra mile to surpass learner and customer experience. My name was not read out and I believe they did not want me to know I was nominated.
I attended an interview yesturday and it was a fars as I was asked 2 questions that I feel were set up the 1st how had past observations gone especially my last (all of myn for 11 yr have always been good however 2010 I was working 13 hrs more class contact than my contract for no overtime to help that place out and I had a concerned parent on the phone which meant I was 5 mins late for the class and this resulted in an unsatisfactory) I had a one at another college as part of an interview a month ago and got very good and I forgot about it as I was so took back, bare in mind I have been satinterviewing candidates with the panel and I know what questions are usually asked. The second Have you had a disruptive student and what happened 3 yrs ago a student was extremely bad no one in college could control him and I gave him a chance until he got he started 1 day so I asked him to leave the workshop at which point he said "make me" and I just opened door and said out. To my surprise whilst it was taking place another lecturer had come in to see me and witnessed everything, Very pleased as he made a complaint and said I manhandled him, I feel my boss treat me guilty when she should of knew me well enough she got stetements and it was dropped.
After the interview I recieved a telephone call from HR who told me that they had interviewed all afternoon and what a good show etc but it was decided based on answers to the 2 questions there were better answers than mine.
I set up the programme they want someone to teach, designed and taught it whilst my 2 managers were still at school and I feelI have been set up I said hang on " your telling me you have someone better" "based on the answers" I said you had a guy infront of you who has taught the programme for 11 years, covered for staff, no sick days, the students want me back and you have someone better, I am in a 12 week period with yourselves and I do Not think the job should of been advertised. I have attended many interviews and never been asked about observations, and my son in law is taught by 1 of the panel and he was back teaching at 3.30pm I was in at 1.30pm and I was the 1st in as I know admin staff and I was told. I left at 2pm as it was shortest in history. On my application I put my new wmployer another local college and they never asked about it what I was doing or anything. I knew when they never asked about it and then when the 2 questions came I knew they were set for me too fall, as I could not of not mentioned the past observation so I was at a disadvantage.:j

Sorry - but this is done and dusted and you must move on.
(a) How an employer interviews or recruits, provided they break no laws on discrimination, is their own busines and there is no way that you can object to these questions. They may not be asked by other employers - but that isn't unlawful or unfair.
(b) Your job, by any legal definition, was redundant. A part-time job, even if it existed at the same time as the redundancy, is not a suitable alternative vacancy in law (although you could have asked for it if you were prepared to work part-time, and if you were prepared to accept such a drop it would probably have been acceptable in law) - but the new job was created after you left and is only partially the job that you were doing. The law permits "changed circumstances" - i.e. the argument that last month we didn't need a XXX, but this month things have changed and we do need a XXX" - and there is a strong argument against this being unfair because it is still a different job than the one you were made redundant from
(c) You signed a compromise agreement - so it is all moot anyway since you have signed away your rights to take legal action over this. A small mistake in dates does not invalidate the agreement - although one could point out that neither your solicitor nor you read it very closely to have missed such an obvious error, that would be your problem and not the employers. You understood what you were signing and the agreement in terms of the redundancy settlement etc was the agreed sum and correct based on the actual dates you wereemployed for.
I'm sorry, but I don't see anything at all that you can do here, and I think you need to put this behind you.0
