Blackberry Bold 9700
Hello,
I am thinking of getting this phone from ebay from a person who has a good rating (over 2000 ratings at 99%) and it would be a face to face transaction. I have never bought a second hand phone before, is there anything that I should be especially wary of?
Additionally do people think this is a good phone? I would be looking to use it for a few months as my current phone is hardly working and then get a Desire HD on a new contract when my current ones finishes and hopefully the price comes down a bit.
My O2 contract finishes in Novemeber and will look at maybe getting a sim only tmobile deal (the only network that gives me coverage at work!) that i can use and then pay for Desire HD outright or get a new contract with a phone and sell the Blackberry.
Thanks for your help!

They're ok for a blackberry, search review sites. Youll need to make sure that you get the Blackberry service added to your service plan in order for email and web to work on it.0

Personally the Bold 9700 is the best phone I have ever used, and that is after years of using touch screen phones. May not be every ones cup of tea, but what it does it does very well! but you have to remember it is more of a business phone rather then a consumer one, and as such it lacks in the multimedia side of things.
But all in all I would recommend it, but as has been said you will need the "blackberry" add on to get full functionality out of it.0
