Buying our Orange contract

Some advice please.

My current Orange contract ends 12 December.

My contract should cost £30 per month but is discounted down to £20 per month.

I rang a couple of days ago to get the buyout cost and was quoted £53ish (which will fall by about £1 per day as Iget nearer to the 12 December) which, I was told, was based on the undiscounted £30pm as 'they couldn't take into account the £10 discount".

Would I be better, therefore, jus leaving the contract running @ £20pm (I'm not bothered about porting my number) and, if so, can I ring them now to have the contract cancelled on the 12th December?

Thanks
Uh?

Cancelling you contract cost Monthly fee x months left, with the VAT removed.

If your current thats £20 a month so £40 or so to the end of your contract.

Cancelling it would be £50 ish maybe if you take off the vat

Once cancelled you get no more service. Would you not be better putting a big note on your calender using your minutes as a home phone then putting in the cancel request next month say ithe 5/6th November so it's in place. Remember you need to give them 30 days notice so the cancell request has to go in before the 12th November.

Seems sill to pay more and get less service.
