Offers after auction finished

Recently i've been getting increasing numbers of offers submitted direct to me after my auction has finished. These are for items which are unsold and BNWT. The (potential) buyers are making very low offers. They all say they will pay immediately by paypal but I get the impression they are trying to deal outside of ebay (against the rules of course).

Many times. I've gone along with it on occasions. But not for low offers. And it is against the rules.0

Just report them, block them from bidding on your items and make a note never to buy from them (although they probably sell using another account ... and probably have a few extra ones for bidding too)."Now to trolling as a concept. .... I had this a few months ago....listed loads one Sunday (on a free listing weekend!).
When it all ended, about 5 of my auctions (all 99p starts) for baby clothes bundles (all new or as good as) were unsold.
Less than 10 minutes after, someone emailed me saying "I meant to bid on these items (all 5 of my unsold listings!!!) ... I was putting my son to bed and missed the end. Can I buy them from you?"
I know that if she had bid at the end she would have got them all for 99p, but I quickly relisted them all, left it an hour and replied back to her saying "Oh, sorry, I've only just read your message... I have already relisted the items".
They sold the following week. Each bundle went for £5+0 -
Why? All they are doing is trying to get a bargain doesn't mean they will be a bad buyer....

Because they offered you a price for an item.:eek:. Lock them up them they obviously members of Al Quaeda! Do you block everyone who dares want to bid a low price on one of your items? Twice I've emailed sellers after the auction had ended. Like most bidders on here I tend to bid in the dying minutes. This day I forgot about the items I'd been watching, (2 items of clothing). I emailed both sellers, 1 offered to sell there and then, so to speak, and the other offered to put it back on as a BIN. Interesting this thread should come up now - I also tend to bid at the last minute and last night forgot to bid on an item I wanted. I was wondering whether it would be worth contacting the seller today to see if the item is still for sale. I wouldn't be wanting to con them and I'd be perfectly happy to negotiate on price and go through ebay with a BIN.0
