And here is the inevitable self inflicted anger :rotfl:

Pull yourselves together, you knew and were warned not to get too excited, but that grabby grabby mentality kicked in and now you feel hard done by because you have lost exactly nothing (apart from maybe the cost of delivery, well though titty).

I love how some of you think it's your God given right to have this honored, or should be compensated in some way because it wasn't (DTD? Don't make me laugh...).

Sure, it's sometimes worth a go, but frequently these mistakes are spotted and rectified as they should be so you would be better off assuming that you will not get deal, would have thought you would be used to the disappointment by now.

    you r right ..:T

    No anger here
Mr.t done good, just phoned customer services and there policy is they will honour 3 of each at the internet price and if you ordered more than that then you can refund in store with your print out of order!!
So i ordered 4x of each
£10.10 inc delivery on web last night
£42.10 paid today at time of delivery
    £29.00 just refunded
£13 paid for 4x small and mighty and 4x comfort 1.5

with the option of returning the full price ones to tesco for a £9.90 refund

so anyone expecting delivery, accept them!!I dont think anything will be done if you cancel order, you have to have accepted them off the delivery person

5* customer service on this one mr.tesco
  • hubby took delivery today when I was at work I had ordered 6 lots (3 for me and 3 for mum) and my normal shopping as well. I had been charged full price so phoned CS got a really helpful lad who said oh the comfort and persil thing so obviously aware he said they could honour the 3 lots, and the other 3 I could choose to return to store or give them back to the delivery driver when next ordering. I thought they were very helpful and polite very pleased.

  • just wanted to bump this to see how we all got on
  • Ordered 3 persil, 3 comfort and was charged 28.80 when online should be 18.00. Rang CS who contacted store who stated offer had expired instore.
Explained to CS that valid online until 24.10 so she said 'I should not have to pay full amount' so refunded 10.80 to cc.
  • was charged full price so nice delivery driver took them back and refund given, I got other shopping too so he didnt have a wasted journey, it was worth a try, nothing ventured, nothing gained:)

 now to lose the extra 4 stone
  • Ladies
as my above post...why are you sending them back or even paying the £6 offer?
The 3 sets of each has been at £1.30 has been agreed by the head office on this glitch....
  • You actually save 3.30 on each when you purchase 1 Persil & 1 Comfort hence the 10.80 refund.

I had 3x persil and 3x comfort honoured at the price of £1.30 is what im saying.
So I got 3 persil and 3 comfort for the total price of £3.90,which was offered to me by customer service guy before i even asked!
so you should have got the same as me and been refunded more
THE TOTAL I PAID FOR 3 PERSIL AND 3 COMFORT WAS £3.90
