M&S half price snowflake xmas cake

Popped into M & S today and picked up 3. They had loads. There was someone there doing samples too and it tasted lovely. Already get a home-made one but going to keep a couple for myself and give one to my mum. Christmas cake never lasts more than 2 days in this house. Lady said too that it's back to full price next week sometime. If I had known then what I know now . . .
:A Official Boots Tart (I seem to be retired just now though) :A0 -
Also popped in today, all sold out, staff not sure when they will be back in stock.
Lots of signs though for their 'offer of the week' that's off sale...:(0 -
There was plenty of cakes & puddings in Peterborough last night.0

This cake is lovely and moist, they were sampling it yesterday and I bought one.
You could not make it cheaper in my view, cost of the ingredients, time spend making it, cooking it and finally decorating it.
Bargain at £3.990 -
Shall send DH in tomorrow! Hope it's not a regional offer: last year there were none of the half-price cakes to be had here, not even a space on the shelves. Also popped in today, all sold out, staff not sure when they will be back in stock.

DH could only find empty spaces & signs in the town centre & at the out-of-town foodstore he was told they had only had 5 delivered & no idea when any more would arrive.
Seem ridiculous that a store is given loads of signs but none of the productsI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -

will it last till christmas?
Definitely - Christmas and beyond! You can extend the shelf life by stabbing the cake and feeding whisky / brandy / rum / port into the slits every couple of weeks or so, if you've bought an iced cake turn it over and add to the underside.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!
