Tastes good, too! They were offering samples of this and the Christmas pudding, which is also half price, in store today.

The person offering the samples said they are only on offer for a week, until 12th I think.

Can't make them for this price!

Thanks, I have a feeling they did something similar last year, but stock sold out really quickly and I couldn't get one. Will try to get in earlier this year!

i got the christmas cake last year it was very nice will be going in to get one this year as thank you

Thanks Op l've just got my sister on the case to get one today for me, she said her friend had one a couple of years ago on this same offer and the cake was 'horrible' but l've still asked her to get one for me to try,

if it's nice l'll pop in and get a couple more, not worth making them at this price. :j

M & S always have shortbead tins half price anytime soon.

Shall send DH in tomorrow! Hope it's not a regional offer: last year there were none of the half-price cakes to be had here, not even a space on the shelves.
