    If I had a LagunaII and there was a chance of it being written off, there is NO WAY on the earth that I would EVEN consider buying it back. Infact, I'd take a hammer to it and damage it even more to make sure the bloody thing got written off... lol

    There is no chassis to damage. The car can be checked on an alignment rig and re-aligned if necessary. Adds an additional £400 or so if it needs "re-jigging".

    Sills are a spot weld on component as is a pillar. Hell, for MOTs if threre's a rust hole in the sill you can simply plate over it. Sorry, not a reason to write off.
