both my wife and i's mobile phone contracts are due to expire in November. between us, we're currently paying £60-£65 per month.

with Xmas to be soon upon us, we thought we might try and utilise the free gift offers. we would like an Xbox 360 and a Laptop....

from our tariff we would require:
18/24 months
500 mins
1000 texts
500mb data

NOT on Orange network as there is no signal where we live. my wife currently on 3 network and she cant fault them, so this is a poosibility, even tho im a little sceptical over reports inve heard.

as regards handsets, im happy to keep my current one so dont really require one (maybe a SIM only deal then?) and my wife only requires abasic handset, not touchscreen or slide!

any glaringly good offers out there folks??

thanks for any help!

  • There's no such thing as a "free gift". What you get on these "deals" is a basic handset that you end up paying over the odds for to cover the cost of the tv/PS3/X-Box or whatever it is you are getting.

£20 each a month will get you a Nokia E5 with 1gb of data, 500 minutes x-net. 5000 minutes same network. 5000 texts, free Skype and Windows Messenger and free voicemail over 24 months on Three.

Obviously, there are a lot more deals out there but as your wife is already on Three I have just posted this as an example. If you talk to each other a lot on the phone then their 5000 minute same network offer is excellent and you can always switch to Skype should you trun out of minutes and still at no cost.
