evening all
meanmarie I too have a fasting blood test tomorrow morning .We have a big health centre which is just as well as my tum rumbling away fiirst thing in the morning without my breakfast isn't a nice sound
:)I will try to get there for when it opens in the hope they can get to me quick. We used to have a small cafe in there that the local NHS paid a fortune to fit out with posh sofas and chrome tables and chairs then after 6 months decided that it wasn't worth paying someone to dish up tea so they closed it down .what a complete waste of resourses
Anyone a bit leary of the mammogram just go for it as its really not as bad as you think and it could save your life ,it saved mine as I had no lumps ,bumps or anything and yet early diagnosis means I shall be around, hopefully for at least another 20 odd years.Never, never, never put it off.
jackieG sorry you are feeling low honey, make a wee list and write down all the things you want to get done and work your way through it I write one every morning and then as soon as they are all ticked off I can do what ever I feel like even if its only sitting and reading (my favourite)Don't make a long list though at first just one with maybe five things you would like to get done ,not necessarily big jobs ,maybe just little ones to start with .If you do too much you just get disheartened and less likely to want to do anything .Sometimes I just put down long bubbly bath, deep hair condition, paint toe nails, feet up with a good book and a large G&T .have a 'spoil yourself day' its well worth it and blow the housework it will still be there tomorrow .
I spent this afternoon catching up on some over due phoning to some old friends ,one day next week I am going to treat myself to the cinema .be good to yourself and it will make you feel a little better
