DH has been happily spending most of the day in the garden after all the driving yesterday with loft insulation.

Good luck with the "medication" ;) A lot of people are "concrete thinkers" and unless they actually "see" a problem they don't appreciate it exists. Think of it as a "prop" to solve their problem.

Parcels arrived today from half price perfumes , Amazon and the book people with some presents for Christmas, and DDs birthdays this month, so they are now hidden away.

Phoned the furniture showroom to see when our order would come and we are still waiting for the sofabed. As we need it so DD can have the spare room when she comes home around the time of her birthday - it is a bit fraught:eek:

Still need to get an electrician to replace light fittings but can't do that till the lights I ordered for the hall arrive in the few days.

Planning spag bol, or lasagne tonight as most of my lot enjoy that. It has stopped raining so I don't have to brave the weather if I pop to the shops.

Hug to all and see you later.

Glad you managed to get your lights Elona.

Urgh, I need a kick up the backside. I've let a nother day run away from me. Nothing done again, this can't go on much longer, I am trying to kick myself up the backside to get on with stuff but its just not working. I am ready to scream. The house is a mess, I am not getting on top of anything, OH is exhausted and its really not fair expecting him to do it, not that he even seems to notice it needs done. My hair still isn't done, or my eyebrows, I have chipped nail polish which is four weeks old on my fingers I look a mess. And to be perfectly honest I don't see the point in making the effort. This just isn't me but I just cannot get moving. Someone give me a shove, please!!

Right, I am off to tackle the dishes so that I can make dinner - do you see what I mean, this is getting ridiculous now! :(

KICK UP THE @RSE Just for you Jackie ;)

In all seriousness why not just tackle one thing at a time (after you've sorted dinner). Take the nail polish off. Only taken 5 mins (if you do it reaaaaaaaally slowly) and then mentally you can tick that off the list xx

    Hi Jackie,

Just wanted to say that I can understand how you feel having suffered with the 'black dog'. It's really hard to get motivated. How about trying to do something in the tv break, even if its just fetching the nail poliah remover? If it is depression ( I think you've said before that you suffer with it, but please forgive me if i'm wrong) then remembwr that its not a matter of pulling yourself together. If you could do that, you would have done. Depression is an illness and its not that simple. Be kind to yourself.

Is there anyone that can help you out while you recover? I have to admit, we've had a cleaner in before when I've had a bad spell.

    Hope you feel better soon.

    Take care. Hugs,

    Ali xx

    Evening everyone

Tru hope today went ok and you got your mini meals in, love the tablet thing

Bitsy – do they still sing cauliflowers fluffy at harvest festival? Used to make me laugh that one, we used to sing we plow the fields and scatter very boring, much better to have fluffy caulis

Jaxx – I am very very small up top, lie down and they are gone! was told it would hurt, didn’t hurt, more uncomfortable, especially the way you have to position yourself.

Beemuzed – hmmm overlocker, used to have one, came in very handy making bloomers, could run a pair up in 20 mins, (just want to point out I used to make National Costumes for my DD dance school, not into wearing bloomers meself)TBH the overlocker scared me a bit, foot slip and that was it, loads of useless material:eek:
JackieG – I used to have an old BMW loved it, it was built like a tank and I felt safe in it, used to get little boys try to race me, used to let them win, prob made them feel good
Chai – I can soooo relate to the spider thing, I always think I should do the glass and paper but I chicken out and hit it with the heaviest thing I can find. I got a good telling off on facebook the other night for it:rotfl:

Not posted for a bit as has been a shock to the system going back to work after nearly 3 weeks. Have been getting up at my normal time but then just sitting there instead of doing things I should, by the time I get home I don't want to do anything. Today I have made a list for the rest of the week. Tomorrow morning before work I WILL hoover round. When I get home I WILL put some washing on. Baby steps!

Going now before I keep rambling on xx

    Evening all,

Hugs to all in need or want.

CupofChai....had to laugh, sorry, but found 5 dead spiders in the bath to-day....we use our own bathroom and there is nobody else here at present....must do a clean up in there, have been putting on long finger as allegedly we are having it painted next week.

Tru...hope that to-day went all right.

Its been nice here since weekend, did 3 washes this morning, hung them out and forgot all about them....realised as I was going out to recover them that it had been raining for an hour, so left them, not supposed to rain to-morrow.

Made some mint jelly to-day, seems ok, just 3 small jars, also dried some more apples, pleased with dehydrator, need to have it on every day to get the apples dried before the b***dy crows get them all.

JackieG....so sorry you are not well, as Falady says, go easy on yourself....small steps, give yourself 10 minutes to do something and then stop...things will get done eventually and its not life-threatening if they don't until you feel better. Big squishy hug.

OH to have fasting blood test at 8.45 to-morrow, so will have to get him up around 7....takes him an hour to get up, shower, shave and dress, drives me nuts!

Think I will get off to bed soon myself....hugs to all in need or want.
