How do i transfer contacts from one phone to another?
Have a lobster 700tv phone. Manage to get hold of another one. I want to transfer contacts from one phone to another without transferring onto sim card. Can it be done?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way

Never heard of that handset, but if you have a pc suite for it, then that is a good start.0

The Lobster 700 supports ActiveSync. Can't you just connect the two together via a cable and transfer them using this?If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button

I have only used ActiveSync in a PC-to-Mobile situation, via Outlook. Not sure that mobile-to-mobile via Active Sync would work, but willing to be proved wrong.
If you are right about the Lobster supporting ActiveSync, then , assuming that the OP has a cable, then putting Outlook or possibly Outlook Express on the PC, then transferring from Old Lobster to Outlook and then back to New Lobster would work.
The added advantage of this is that PC-Sync for Nokias also transfers with Outlook so, any time in the future, the OP could copy up to a Nokia.0 -
Thanks for the info.
The cable i have is from mobile to pc and not mobile to mobile.
Will give it a try over the weekend and let you know what happens.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

You might be able to use Bluetooth, although if you can only do one at a time it may take a while if you have a lot of contacts.0
