humax foxstat HDR

bought a humax foxstat hdr after dumping sky.....it's great...but one problem that I cannot sort out.....recorded spooks and watched it today...but cannot delete...I get as far as panel showing delete with 2 box , 1 blue [yes] and 1 yellow [no ] when i press yes all that happens is a small circle with a bar through it shows on top right of screen , also have tried another way where you press red button to delete , but nothing happens
could use some advice....must be simple but can't do it.

Sounds like you might have accidentally 'protected' that programme to stop it from being accidentally deleted. Not exactly sure how to do it, but there's an opt+ button that might contain the settings for removing the protection, press this opt+ button whist the programme is highlighted.
And it's Foxsat, not FoxsTat!

Go to Media files - press OK on the file you want and a menu will come up. Two of the many options are protect/unprotect and lock/unlock. Check the programme hasn't been protected or locked.

It is also not possible to delete while a programme is being recorded, so ensure this wasn't the case.
