looking for the cheapest possible way for 2 adults going to london from glasgow on 2nd november returning 3rd november. tried flightchecker and everything is about the £100 mark for 2 of us returning which is not bad.
the trains are really just too expensive.
anyone have any cheaper alternatives
thanks!

Ryanair website comes out at £41.92 inclusive of taxes, etc, for 2 people (but baggage costs extra). Of course it depends on time of day and you need to add on the cost of getting to Prestwick and into London from Stansted.0

Easyjet seems to have cheap flights.Stompa0

Unless you are willing to travel overnight I wouldn't recommend either of the coach services (in fact I don't recommend them at all) as you won't have much time in London otherwise
As for flights - assuming you land at Stansted the CHEAPEST way into London will be National Express coach (£28 return for 2) to Stratford, then Tube into the centre (get the day pass)0 -
Hi,
Try https://www.chesterletrack.co.uk. This is a train web site and we have recently purchased 2 single tickets from Kings Cross to Newcastle for £17.90. Yes, not a typo!
For some reason, it is now cheaper, on the whole, to buy 2 singles instead of a return. Good Luck - sallysaver
