  • Perhaps my details were passed on to you at the same time as the Manchester company.

Either way, I emailed you Kim, on that email to ask where you got my number from and why, and I received no response. I think if people want your help with debt they will probably get in contact with you, rather than the other way round.
  • It was the beginning of October I think. It doesn't really matter now, at the time I was annoyed and wanted to know where you had got my details from but I've blocked all of the texts and numbers so it doesn't really matter now. Calls obviously weren't meant for me anyway if they were calling me Josie.

If you are on O2 (or Tesco), look at http://protectourchildren.o2.co.uk/ReportSpam.jsp and http://www.o2.co.uk/support/generalhelp/howdoi/safetycontrolandaccess/spam . This works well as I've been able to block The AA's spam texts via this method.
  • Just do a google search: richmond group scam

    Says it all really...:(

As well as Kim1 not requesting/getting permission to post as a representative of a company, they can remember one person out of 16000 a month they supposedly help?

Kim-Do you have permission to post as a company representative?
  • Took a look at their website, is interesting how they don't seem to tell you what their charges are, looked all over the site and managed to find you have to have a minimum of £1000 debt and have to have a minimum of £100 a month spare cash, but they dont seem to want to say what they charge (looked all over site and got as far as stage where they wanted my contact details and couldnt find anything showing how much they charge, not going to provide contact information to them, but is interesting how they dont volunteer fees before they have their hooks into you personal details)

Anyone happen to know this? Would have thought a company that is offering a genuine service would say openly and if they dont...
  • Yep plus I don't think we corresponded with each other, I just wrote a complaint on there and have not visited again - not worth getting involved, too stressful! Maybe we should report her for not asking permission to post as a rep?

Also I had 2 calls from another debt place last week, seriously where are these people getting my number from??????????? lol!

Lol bit bored so found the thread whocallsme com/Phone-Number.aspx/01202629255

Good to see that less and less people are doing business with this type of outfit, the number quoted in August was over 18000 per month and now it is down to 16000. Hopefully it will soon be down to 0 people that they are "helping".

Anybody who needs debt management should go to a free service such as Citizens Advice :A, why let even more people take your hard earned money?
