Managed to get off the M42 before it ground to a halt.
Stupid bank phoned - reckon I'm in arrears with my loan. Er it goesout by standing order every month and has been doing. Apparently it is up to me to prove to them that they have lost it!
Days like today make me want to give up on life.
Bookie, sorry to hear you've had a bit of a carp day. I second Ellidee and prescribe a rather large glass of wine and some chocolate.
Banks are a pain in the hoop! That's all I'm going to say on that matter. :rotfl:0 -
Bookie - Banks are unbelieveable - hope you manage to sort it and it doesn't cause you too much hassle.
Ames - Thanks for the comments re Reiki. The problem is she is a friend of my friend, and my friend is finding comfort in what she is telling her, so I wouldn't want to upset her - even if it isn't true at least it is helping her in some way.
Claire - you should have another order from me!

Evening all
Ames - Love the boots but how do you manage to walk in those with mobility problems? I always love the look of heels but go back to comfort.
Bookie - I think your bank needs a slap. Hope you manage to get some trousers sorted and well done on getting the job.
Had a stressy but good day - DH had his driving assessment, they're putting indoresments on his licence which we expected but he had a good drive around once they'd got him comfortable and he now knows he can do it......they taught him how to approach things differently to cope with his pain and movement limitations too which was great. So now we can sort out test drives with the cars he's interested in (typically the one he wanted is no longer on the scheme ((removed on the 1st of October)) but no one thought to tell us that last week when we were chatting to them).
A glass of wine and an early night is in order now and tomorrow MIL is coming for the day - being dropped off at 7.30am..after her hip replacement she's going stir crazy staring at the walls so she's coming to stare at mine instead

Not that you would, but don't mention my new order to my daughter, if you happen to speak to her because I am putting it away for her for Christmas!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j
