It is very rare for a Rover or Day Ranger to be accurately listed on both a Train Company website and National Rail enquiries0
-
In the event of a TOC site and the National Rail site disagreeing, the TOC is likely to be right
I do recall seeing a report recently that National Rail are having 'issues' with rover tickets on the website0 -
Excellent, I feel a day trip around some of the railways in Devon coming up, might as well use the cut-price ticket to get to Honiton from here0

Hi
Does the national rail enquiries site show the cheapest train tickets?
Liverpool street station to Exeter central? £53.60 return (arrive by 1pm on 31/01) I don't have discount rail cards, but is there a way to get this any cheaper via codes or splitting tickets?
thankseBay 100 item challenge- 16/100 => £268.95
SW Start date (16/08/13) @ 134.4 lbs & BMI = 25.4
Goal weight of 126lbs0 -

Either the 08:20 or 09:20 departure might suit you, arriving at Exeter Central at 11:37 and 12:37 respectively.
just need to get across London to Waterloo.
You mention return. When are you coming back?
If you are coming back over the weekend, it would be worth getting a Winter Smiles ticket from Honiton to Waterloo together with an Anytime Single from Exeter to Honiton.
That would be £10 for the Winter Smiles return (just throw away the return half), plus £6.60 for the Exeter/Honiton ticket.0 -

P.S East Coast offer points when you book with them, worthwhile using them over say RedSpottedHanky or Cross Country??0 -

As a default Network Rail directs you to the company that operates the service - presumably that's the case here? If not - pass
You might want to look at a Derbyshire Wayfarer ticket:

Hi
Sorry to bother you again.
I didn't order the tickets when you said the offer, feel really stupid now, as I wasn't expecting the offer to be taken down. Now its unavailable and I cant find anything on the website?
Do you know any other route that might be cheaper as now the price has increased from £53.60 to £84.60.

Oh dear.
No idea where your figures come from, but if you can arrive in Exeter at 13:43 it can be done for £75.90 return... that's an Off Peak Return from Liverpool Street to Exeter via Waterloo.
Are you starting your journey at Liverpool Street or travelling by train into Liverpool Street?
You still haven't said when you are planning to return.0
