I was wondering if anybody would be able to find me a return from Leeds to London at any point over the next month. Preferably leaving on a Friday and returning on a Monday. Hopefully under £30 if that's possible. Thanks.

Thats not really possible for us to check unless you have firm dates because your on a business route so they will go quickly

Ah that's fine, I didn't realise as I'm new to this. I've realised that going on the 18th February and returning on the 21st is when I need to go. The cheapest I've found is £45.

Which is a reasonable fare. And fair as they say on here.

I have now got written confirmation and or cheques from the rail companies.

For my family's outward journey before Xmas, they have not applied any £10 admin costs and have agreed to refund all of our ticket costs. One of the rail companies has also agreed to give us free 1st-class return tickets as compensation. Will probably use these to get a return trip to London during the Summer.

For our return trip after Xmas, had to pay £10 admin fee to one company. Couldn't get a refund from one of the other companies as we used advanced tickets.

To sum up, I have got a great deal as it would have cost me more by travelling by car and we have also got a free 1st-class return trip as compensation.:j:)

I must be [STRIKE] gormless or is it [/STRIKE] living the dream !! or am I d[STRIKE]r[/STRIKE]zug[STRIKE]g[/STRIKE]ed out ?:laugh:

Even better news as I just realised that I will also be getting cashback from Quidco for using East Midlands Trains. The money has already been received into Quidco; just waiting for it to be paid into my bank account.

So I have now got a refund, cashback and 1st-class travel as compensation for the family. Wonderful !!:j

gah, I am late ordering tickets and I was wondering if any of you nice people could point me towards some cheaper ones.
Traveling this Sunday (6th) From Liverpool to London.
Though, I can also travel from some other close by stations if its cheaper, such as Runcorn, Warrington and at a push Wrexham or Manchester.
This would be for a Single Adult.

    Thank you.

Interested to see wot responses you get as I av a ticket for LiverpoolvChelsea game and I ain't bought any rail tickets yet; although I may be able to get a car to take me there and back. Just waiting for confirmation before I look actively at train options.
