Thanks
Considering that you can get a dual core Dell or Mesh for that price I think it is a bit overpriced!!
Considering that the Dimension C521 costs well under 500 quid and has an Athlon X2 3800+ dual core,1gb RAM,160gb hard disk, dvd rewriter,x1300pro graphics card,17 inch TFT and delivery included it is an excellent bargain!
Also do not listen to all those old wifes tales about Dells. Plenty of people use them with no issue what so ever and they seem to use decent components IMHO.
Many educational establishments use Dells PCs which are switched on 24-7 and they do not seem to go !!!!!!(unless it is one of their notebooks though - but that is another story!!)0 -
I appreciate the advice given. We were looking to buy the PC this week but having taken our Land Rover to the garage today have been told that it needs a new clutch - £500. Better put it off this month! One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.0
