i'm just getting a bit confused. if you're made bankrupt how did 23k turn into 80k - and i thought if you had no money/assets then you paid nothing which would mean you should have money but just not be able to get credit?.

try and think longterm - ok at the moment you're missing out on materialistic things but its not forever - did you say 4 years - my ccj has been on my file for 6 years and i can confirm its been a real millstone round my neck so i can see what you're saying.

like another poster's said, go and see the gp and talk things over with him.

Ive tried so much to turn things around, but my head is wrong,it's burnout, anxiety, shredded nervous system, bits of depression, low feelings, anger etc.It used to be clear, positive,my personality was chatty, outgoing, now its a fixed serious look, bored of life.

Depression is not a sign of weakness, it is a sign of trying to cope for too long on your own

I see where you're coming from Darnit but I'm not trying to get even,I simply can't afford to fund a legal fight.I was an easy option for the OR in their BRO quota target and fell victim.

You have to accept what has happened to you, you can't change what already been done. Acceptance is the first step to moving on, or you'll be going round in the same circle of thoughts for a very long time.

At social gatherings, be thankful you get invited, and if anyone asks what you are doing, speak lightly about your work, skip BR if you want to and then move the chat onto talking about them. Most people like to talk, few can listen. Ask about them, have a couple of topics up your sleve for chit-chatBecome a listener for a little while, till you find your feet a little more with it.

    Good luck :D

This sounds so much like me, apart from the anger. I'm still waiting to see if the OR hits me with anything else. But i still won't feel the anger, because i've got to accept it was my fault.

All i can suggest, is keep talking, maybe get your thoughts out and be honest with yourself. While i'm still here and talking...................

It is'nt easy. Its a rollercoaster of emotions. One minute you can be up, the next at rock bottom again.

The higher the height you fall from, the harder the fall. Unfortunately, those days have gone

Just to re-iterate what others have said. Go to your GP and ask to be referred to a counsellor. I did this and got 10 free 30 min sessions with a counsellor at my Dr's surgery and I was referred immediately. She helped me enormously.

It's not a sign of weakness, it;s showing that you want to take control of your life.

I wish you luck and keep posting on here for support and advice and to let us know how you are getting on.

  • "But i still won't feel the anger, because i've got to accept it was my fault. " thats a great phrase and exactly how I feel/felt. My experience with the OR and my becoming Br saved my sanity, I dont even mind my IPA, its only right, for me, to pay to the Or any surplus I have left.
I just wanted you to know that not every OR wants to bleed you dry and Im so sorry that your experience was so different to mine.
    Take care
