Storing a sofa in a shed?
Comments
-
I moved back in with my parents and was paying for storage. We weighed up the costs of this and decided for dad to build a shed, waterproof membrane and all. after the winter, the fridge freezer had some mould inside it the sofa was damp, mouldy and smelly.
I had bits and pieces in those massive mouldproof bags from ikea and they were all perfect, so can highly recommend those.
If you are not going to be using the sofa, why not just sell it on, and put the cash away to buy yourself another should you need it.
It won't survive the winter in the shed, so you will have wasted it. If you put it in storage and then stay for a longer period then you will probably have spent more than you would buying a sofa.
I would sell it.
I can't find the mouldproof bags you mention from Ikea , can anyone else find them for me.?0
