Credit Cards that have moved to other companies

Abbey are now Santander so I would send it to Santander. I think that you should call ask them to be on the safe side but make sure that you do not give your name.
I would also make sure that you have your follow up letter account in dispute no CCA received ready because there is no way that they will be able to send your CCA in 12 days.0 -
Thanks Paris one other thing do I put the A&L & Abbey card account number on the letter or the MBNA ones? I noticed that the card numbers seam to have changed at some point?0

I would put the orignal ones because if you put MBNA then they will tell you to ask MBNA for the CCA.
One further point your cards may be now with MBNA now but it does not change the fact that the CCA were originally taken out with A and L and Abbey.0 -
Thanks, both letters are sent & I will get the follow up letter account in dispute no CCA received ready.0

Keep me updated on how you get along and remember when they do not send the CCA in 12 days + 2 then that when you can legally stop payment.
I am not sure about the Abbey one but I think that it is highly unlikely that A and L have a CCA.
Good luck0 -
Hi
Just a quick update I have not had any response as of yet regarding these letters so I will get the follow up letter prepaired.
Just a couple of questions the "12 + 2 days" do you count only working days & not weekends? I sent on Oct 6th so I will send the follow up letter on the 21st Oct?
Also both letters were sent 1st class recorded but the A&L one has not been signed for, Royal Mail said they these large compainies dont always sign for them as they get too many. I am taking this up with royal mail but it means I dont have proof that it got there. I do have a full signature for the Abbey one.
Thanks for your help.0 -

Only working days should be counted.
Does the Royal Mail website say that the letter has been deilvered if so that should be enough because you can print out a copy and use that as proof of delivery.0 -

Okay thats not proof sounds like it might have got lost but does the receipt from the post office have the A and L address on it.
Did you send a postage order or cheque with the CCA request.
If you send a another CCA request then that starts the 12 + 2 days process again.0
