I think you need to sit your wife down and come clean, I know it will be hard but it sounds as if she's the one who's money savvy. I'm sure she will rise to the challenge, last year when we really needed to I fed four adults and a teenager and two pets for £30 a week - it wasn't pretty but it was wholesome, home made and helped us get back on our feet but how can your wife possibly understand the urgency of this is she doesn't understand the situation? I know you don't want to let your mum down perhaps take a copy of your SOA to her house and over a cup of tea you can explain the mess you are in - I don't know of any mum anywhere who wouldn't help in these circumstances.
Ok so you can pay this months bills? Well then it's cold turkey month
If you will still have your £70 per week left it shouldn't be too hard, what will this need to cover? Then once you are through this hand your bank account back to your wife so you don't repeat this again. 0 -
Hi Guys,
All going well at the mo.
Have managed to agree a payment plan with Wageday Advance.
They have asked me how would i like to pay?
Any advice here.
If i pay them by standing order from my new bank could they start taking larger sums out?
What did you do?

Standing orders are safe. You control the amount paid.
Do not give them your card number or set up a DD as they can (and some companies do) then claim the entire lot in one go and wreck your finances. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
