Just an update.
I reserved the item online on Tuesday evening and went to the branch yesterday.
The assistant had no problem with me viewing the item. I double checked it was the right one, I did buy it and am mega pleased.
I used a £10 gift card and some nectar points. Paid £52.49 for it, so I still qualified for a £5 gift card back.
In all the years I've been shopping at Argos, I didn't know you could view the item first.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £10,153.440
