I had free tickets to Ides of March but decided after a little thought and watching the trailer that it really does not look like my type of movie.

Decided to cancel as would have cost parking money and 10 miles worth of petrol so will sign up to 3 months for the price of one on Lovefilm instead. :D

Watched Ides of March today, very cleverly done film not quite a political thriller but gripping enough to keep me highly entertained with a few levening moments to keep it from being as serious as it could have been!:T

Just rang Odeon (via 0800, say no to 0870 number) and they said that the 200 points are for signing up for the card online and the 500 points will come / show up online in 72 hours.

    I now have 700 points in my Odeon Account !! !!! !! !!!

I watched Tin Tin through Sky movies in Nantgarw, Cardiff on Sunday morning, it was funny but a little slow in parts. There were quite a few seats left but it was a large screen so not sure if that was why? I hope so as it was fully booked on the Sky website.

They don't always issue the same amount of tickets as seats. For example the room might seat 150 people but only 100 tickets might be issued. The size of rooms differ in each cinema and the cinema decide which one to use. They don't always marry up, so not always a true indicator.
  • Does anyone have an unused O2 Moments code to get the 700 points for the Odeon. I dont have a smartphone for the interent so cant get a code . It would be very much appreciated :)

I was at the same screening, there were a few seats left, this could be because some people got tickets, but didn't bother to come or let them go so other people could go. It is better than some screenings where they turn people away, which is very annoying.

Agree with you that it was slow in places, but I've been told that this is quite typical of Tintin comics/cartoons.

Brilliant considering it was all CGI!

I have just watched the repeat of the Graham Norton Show - with Jamie Bell.
They used Motion Capture or some such technology for Tintin.
So actors did actually do the acting (in a room JB said) which was filmed, then they worked their magic and 'enhanced' the film with computer animation.
JB said it was the same way they had created Gollum in TLOTR.
