You don't have to sit on the naughty step, its too nice a day for that lol. It was just so strange that we got several alerts but when we looked there weren't any posts. I hope you found the right place for your question?

Thanks for that Poochface and Rainy LB :). I was trying to get an additional (cancelled) ticket to take my grandson to see Legends of the Guardians but I couldn’t access the ticket booking page on the Sky site and wondered if anyone else was having the same problem.

As it was, I’m glad I didn’t take him, he’s 5 and he would have found it too scary. (There seemed to be a steady stream of parents with very young children leaving the film during the more scary scenes - they might have needed to 'pay a visit' - but they didn't all come back :().

My granddaughter (15) liked it and although it took a while for the story to get going, the scenery was amazing. I’m just surprised at the PG rating as I felt it was more suited to older children.

Anyway, before I post, I am looking very carefully at which thread I am on and crossing my fingers just to be sure ;)

Mistakes are easy to make, I posted in a no chat thread once because I used the wrong email alert to click on. You did the right thing by deleting, some use it as a chance to complain about the rules. We users don't make the rules though and I do wish some would remember that.

But anyway, it's great to see someone joining in and chatting, this discussion thread is open to all despite what some moaners say.

Sadly i had to miss this film although I had wanted to see it so badly. I thought it looked like it would be perfect in 3D. Unfortunately, my friends changed their minds about coming, maybe it is just as well from what you've told us. Their little girl is about 4 or 5 so possibly too strong for her? It's really good to hear of a 3D film that actually works after some of the recent 3D duds.

Whereabout in the country do you watch your films jonty?

Fancy joining today just to post using foul and abusive language! (on codes)

I've reported to abuse and I urge everyone else to do the same.

Pooch I tried to pm you but your box is full!!

My georgraphy up north is not that great, not sure how far Manchester is from Liverpool really but ShowFF just released tickets for Guns n Roses tomorrow night.

    code 479815

Not sure it would be of interest but free concerts don't come up that often!!

Yep, completely unbelievable. Luckily, I think it's so rude that hopefully geordie_boy won't take offence and will just ignore it. It just isn't worth rising to.

Thanks, have now made a bit of space in my pm box.
I got the alert for the Guns n Roses post and nabbed a couple of tickets. Just waiting to hear from a friend to see if she can come with me. I'm not their greatest fan but as you say, it's a free concert and concerts are out of my budget at the moment.

Thank you very much for posting the info. I'm surprised I didn't get an alert but glad you did:T

He has a far better tolerance level than I but even I can't be bothered to pm that cowardly, ignorant twonk!

I personally loved it and thought the voice fitted the character and the kids are begging to go see it again, they liked TS3 but not with the same enthusiasm.

......but wouldn't it be a boring world if we all liked the same thing!!

Indeed it would! I did enjoy the film...just not at much as I thought I would! :o
Valuable life advice: never play chicken with a lion...the lion will ALWAYS win!

I was quite dissapointed there were no local screening for me but my DD was a bit scared at Sorcerers Apprentice so sounds like this was even scarier....probabaly a good job we weren't lucky enough to get any!!

Just one point GB, it is against the rules of Freecycle to offer tickets. You need to find a 'sister' site where you are allowed to offer them. In the Liverpool area it is called wirralandliverpoolcafe. As far as I am aware the cafe sites are nation wide.

    Amended :)
