When I went to the last Virgin screening, Thor, there was a list of names which were checked off. It took ages for the queue to go down.

Mate works for SFF and there will 100% be a list and been told that it will be strict as if the name is not on the list there will be no entry. Also they will prob take phones off people like they did for the star trek screenings.

Just had a reply from SFF - according to them they were the subject of a DDOS attack timed to conincide with the tickets release and are liasing with the police over the matter.

They are pathetic to have their system brought down by an unknown DDOS attacker. If this was Anonymous and/or any other famous hacker group then fair enough but the chances are this, if true, was done by a 15 year old in an IRC channel.

Get your equipment up to par SFF or host your services in a reliable datacentre. And what are you going to do for the people who were fingering their KB's for 4 hours yesterday to no avail? YEA THOUGHT SO.

I have a suggestion - revoke all tickets allocated, set a new date for the release of tickets and let everyone go at it again.

Just wanted to thank who ever posted the second Wowcher Odeon offer (can't find the username). Today I had a pair of tickets arrive on my door for free (and only applied once so I assume they were sending out pairs free).
