I enjoyed Hop too - I thought it was quite good for a U film and I laughed a few times as well.

Couldn't believe how much stuff we got in the Lindt goodie bags: 20 of the 10g gold bunnies and one 100g bunny! Plus a Hop keyring and poster. :)

tell me about it - I got 4 bags worth!
don't judge me - i already know my flaws
  • I loved the film HOP, as much as my kids. Goodie bag was a very nice suprise & my kids favourite chocolate. The only thing that spoilt it for me was the adults grabbing KIDS ONLY goodie bags. I just hope that there was enough for all the kids! Also the state the cinema was left in when the lights went back on. Considering most of the mess was probably brought in & not bought on the premises.

2 adults and a teen and we were all handed a bag each by the staff at the cinema ....so no grabbing and certainly not restricted to kids only at the screening we attended....
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

Lucky you. They were definetly saying "kids only" at our screening. I didn't mind not getting one, just happy for the kids to get them. (maybe they were running out???)

I passed my tickets for Hop onto someone else to use. They offered me the goody bag but I said no......didn't realise there would be soooo much chocolate inside. Anyway it was an adult and 3 kids, they were given one goody bag!

Went with my partner to Hop, pretty good film though thought the Playboy references were (a) too obvious, and (b) not really great for a children's film.

We received a goody bag each - they had loads and were giving them to general punters too. Ours had 4 different Lindt chocolate items worth about £12 in total per bag.

Incidently, all those who left the cinema while the credits were on...

The film carried on after the credits so technically you missed the end :D

I'm moving to Oxford soon. Do you live there? What is the free film scene like - do Oxford cinemas often come up? When they do, do they tend to 'sell out' immediately or not?
    Thanks, Dave

    Hi Dave,

Oxford, not a huge amount. When there is they are usually more 'artsy' movies.

Frustratingly, the large Cineworld at Didcot has never been included on film previews !

Does anyone here have access to Telegraph subscription page? I thought I was a subscriber but I cannot find the link to the Fire in Babylon free showing on Thursday.
