  • I can get the code to work, but no tickets available in Southampton. :( If anyone has 4 & needs to cancel before then please can I have them :) Kids would be very happy little bunnies.

It's only just dawned on my as to why I've never had an email from ShowFilmFirst despite being registered for 2 years.....

I used my home postcode, which makes my closest cinema in Luton.
They don't preview there (and I hate Luton anyway) so even though Milton Keynes is only an extra mile or so away it doesn't get sent to me for that cinema.

Have now changed to an MK password and taken up the VIP package!

You can never buy extra tickets at any of these screenings. Still think there has been little uptake. The cinemas want to make money with drinkds and popcorn. The promoters want you to spread the word. They don't want empty cinemas, esp. on a Sunday morning.

Been registered with ShowFilmFirst for nearly 2 years but have NEVER had a single email from them!!!

Only just dawned on me as to why - I used my postcode rather than that of where I want to go.
My postcode suggests my nearest cinema would be Luton, but we always go to Milton Keynes, which is just over 10 miles away.
Because they don't have previews for Luton and MK is more than the distance that they notify for, I've not had anything from them.

Needless to say, I've now updated to a MK postcode, and have registered for the VIP notifications!
Me too! How far do they notify you of previews? Trouble is I have a few I could go to & they are all different i.e. Odeon, Vue. What is my best way to get emails for these films as I don't get any & even with instant notification on here, normally miss out on tickets?

I know you can't buy extra tickets at the screenings - my point was that it says the exclusive screenings are not open to members of the public!!

Is it worth someone emailing SFF to ask if the screenings are now an open event for all as the code is in the public domain?

According to the VIP registration they send you information on screenings within 10 miles of your postcode.
Cineworld MK is 12.4 miles from my house (Odeon is 12 miles), Luton one is 16 miles away.

I've now changed my profile to my parent's postcode, which is 8 miles from the MK cinema.

Maybe I'll actually get to book some tickets before they're all gone!

No, I just went to www.showfilmfirst.com and put the code 830933 in and it worked, try7 typing the coded manually instead of copy/paste?

Seems there are only tickets available now in Norwich, Hull and Bristol Odeon cinemas.

Here is the link for Virgin: http://movieoffers.virginmedia.com/previews/

Just keep an eye on there and make sure you've got your Virgin customer number handy.
