I just wanted to let you and everyone else know
that friends went to Cineworld Shaftesbury Avenue this afternoon
to get tickets for next tuesday and wednesday but reported that
all tickets have now run out.
Friends said that the Cinema have notices up informing everyone that all their allocation of tickets are now completely sold out
so for anyone that wanted tickets for tomorrow or next week if
you haven't already got them you won't be able to get any from
Shaftesbury Avenue.
We went for the showing today, but were also told that all the tickets have gone, actually the tickets were gone a couple of days ago for the entire week. I think it is ridiculous that tickets were given out days in advance.
Also, they have only allocated half the tickets for BAFTA, the remaining are paid ones.0 -
thanks guys - you saved me a trip as well!0

No Rango, in the morning, still have Toy Story and Inception to watch tomorrow evening, first time seeing them.0

It's a shame you couldn't make your comment without being so offensive to another board user. Reported.0 -

Has anyone else received a cancellation email for the Odeon West End?
Yes, but luckily only saw it tonight as the Odeon West End screening was not cancelled at all!!! They even had live animals, inflated cactuses, activities for children. And half of the cinema was empty... No wonder after the e-mail said it had been cancelled!0 -

I just read and I am upset too! I even e-mailed SFF and they confirmed the cancellation now I e-mailed them back and got the following reply:
"We do apologise for any inconvenience, we had some tickets from our allocation withdrawn so had to send a cancellation, although it was too late to stop automated confirmations."
I replied back pretty !!!!ed off considering they claim it was cancelled when it fact it was not - they should've said it was overbooked instead and to come early if you wanted to make sure to get in!! Really ridiculous0
