Just noticed this on the synopsis for the screenings of Tangled at Cineworlds on the 17th Jan
Tangled
Synopsis
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a 3D film so glasses will be required. There will be a charge of £1 per pair for the glasses.
I wasn't aware of it when I booked my tickets for the screening on the 9th and ended up paying for them(I usually put mine in the recycling box they have for them on the way out at some cinemas).
It looks as though Cineworld may have set their stall out for charging - I hope the others don't follow.
This must be a new thing by Cineworld as when I have been to 3D screenings previously they have always been provided for free and I just keep them in the car in case ever needed again, got quite a collection now.
I cant believe how many notifications I received today re films, 8 emails received and most of it is chat  when will people learn to put the chat on here!!!!0 -

I apologise again for upsetting people, the abuse has been truly shocking. I thought I was genuinely highlighting a serious issue where a once free board seems to contain more and more links to paysites, but nobody else seems to agree, so I obviously overstepped the mark.
It seems that most here are happy for tickets which are cheap, rather than free, to appear on the thread, despite its title. I can understand how that would be useful to a lot of people, though I would have preferred a separate thread for the new types of code so that this one could carry on alerting people to free screenings the way it used to. I bow to the majority and promise not to misbehave again.
FOR THE LAST TIME IT'S NOT ADVERTISING......DO YOU BY ANY CHANCE WORK FOR A COMPETITOR OF THIS PUBLICATION YOU WANT REMOVED???:rotfl:
Even though you apologise you still don't seem to get the point that you can get FREE films from these companies because
The Times
1) some people already have a Times Subscription so the tickets are no extra cost to them
2) some people are happy to pay the £1 for a months trial and £1 is far cheaper than 2 cinema tickets (OK so a very minimal cost)
3) those who are patient and keep trying the site often find that The Times eventually offers them up to non subscribers for FREE!! Although it specifies you need a copy of the paper it is never asked for so again no cost.
Sky
1) If you are a Sky TV subscriber the tickets are a FREE perk
2) If you have a kind friend or relative who is Sky TV subscriber they can add upto 10 additional users to their account who can also book the cinema tickets for FREE
Therefore I don't really think you had a point at all!! As many people can and do get tickets from the companies for FREE including me.
Nobody should be rude to you, BUT you were quite aggressive in your manner and kept posting in codes only, which encouraged further chat in the CODES ONLY thread which becomes very irritating as it is for CODES ONLY and there is a perfectly good discussion thread here were the matter could of been raised for debate, people may have even been more sympathetic to your point of view as you wouldn't have irritated them using the forum incorrectly.
Everyone subscribed received many non film notifications yesterday and each time you get one you have to log in or you won't get the next, which might just be a film and you just didn't want to listen to reason, you even put in one of you post that you knew exactly what you were doing by posting in codes and were very inconsiderate for people on PAYG internet or using phones to log in and therefore causing them expense.
I appreciate your apology I hope you take my point and we can all play nice and enjoy the FREE films!!!0 -

Me too. I don't think Belfast is even on the list!
I have some for this screening now, so have 4 for the Bolton one on Tuesday that I wont need. I know someone was looking for some the other day, so just letting you know I have them, and will return them to SFF when I get round to it later.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0 -

Belfast was on the Daily Mail list through Disney Screenings for Tangled and it was at a later date than all of the other places.
I think if you logged in and booked ticket for the last screening of Tangled it won't let you log in again, if you register a new email or use an account that didn't book tickets last time it seems to work.
Although it says you have successfuly booked Belfast I don't think it has, I think it is an error as it gives you no option to book tickets and when you click on 'My Screening' there is nothing there.0 -
good to know it isnt just my thing getting messed up but i did manage to book tickets so i'm not too bothered. i'm actually really looking to this. i've been so busy with work/college/exams and havent seen anything in january0

does anyone know how to contact disneyscreening? I entered the code and for some reason i dont understand It got me tickets to belfast instead of showing me available locations.
Now whenever I try to get the location I want (leicester odeon) it says I already got tickets.
I really really want to get tickets for Tangled on the 23rd and Im worried by the time I return the belfast tickets there wont be any Leicester tickets left.
ssoooooo Who knows the phone number or email so I can contact them with my problem.0 -

but can someone please tell me where you find the screening booking section on the Disney site? I followed Z-Anwers link for Tangled and got the same message re Belfast, but can't find the screenings on the site
