Hi Lyns,
I had the same problem ... my comp is upstairs and the RJ11 lead that came with my modem wasnt long enough ... i just bought a 10m RJ11 cable yesterday from CableUniverse.co.uk and it arrived this morning and it works perfectly fine ... im currently connected at 8.2mbps and thats the exact same connection speed if I connect my laptop downstairs using the cable provided ... would highly recommend them and it only cost £3.98 inc P&P ... well cheap I no!!
... hope that helps x 0
