Quite exciting in that I have been told that I will be moving into a higher role soon which means I will be getting quite a nice pay rise.
:D:j
Very happy as will be much easier to pay of my credit card/put more towards my mortgage.
Well I have my MBNA card and have transferred some money across to it from my overdraft and the credit card I am paying interest on. The other credit card still is in an interest free period but will move after the next payment on the 15th December which saves a couple of £.
My aim is to save to a higher interest account and any extra will be paid towards the mortgage obviously making sure I have enough put away each month to pay the credit card off.
I now have £60 waiting from various cashback sites.
Last night was a bit traumatic. I was driving home along the busy road when I noticed someone laying on the pavement in the pitch black with his legs hanging over the edge.
I turned around and went back to investigate as just could not just drive on. He was obviously drunk and so I called the police.
I had to keep telling him and pulling his legs off the road on which double deckers and big trucks were passing by only feet from his feet.
He soon tried to get up and walked straight into the road. I knew that if I couldnt get him off the road he would be hit so literally grabbed him and pushed him into the bushes were he was soon sleeping and soon the police came!
Can't believe no one stopped!
I am going to do some dailyclicks tonight.£4000 in 2011 - £48.88/£40000 -
Blimey he was lucky you stopped, women are always told not to in case it's a trap. I wonder whether the police tucked him up in a cell for the night!

Not really much been happening recently.
Just been waiting for my MBNA money to appear in my current account.
Had my MOT and Service today and nothing wrong but did cost me £185 but will share this out over a year.£4000 in 2011 - £48.88/£40000 -
Well I worked out I have overspent by 115.92 this month.
I have taken off my the credit card payments off this as that isn't really an overspend.
This is mainly due to my car tax, MOT and Service which came to £366.34 so if I divide this by 12 because it is for a 12 month period and recalculate this months overspend I am in credit by £219.92 :T
I will have to remember to add the tax/MOT on each months budget though!£4000 in 2011 - £48.88/£40000 -
Can't wait for payday!
Going away on Sunday fro a week on a training course in the south-east. Should be good although it is looking really cold.
Things all seem to be going well at the moment, although I am not earning much extra money other than my day job which is a little frustrating.£4000 in 2011 - £48.88/£40000 -
Well it has been ages since I posted on here.
December did not go well having spent nearly £150 more than I earnt but this month I am well on track and have no large expenses to get in the way.
I worked out where I was on the 1st Jan 2010 and how this compared to last year. Worked out over the last year I have paid off around £2.8k in total but have also gained new credit card debt.
This year I am not going away anywhere so hopefully have a clear year to get this down further.
I am quite pleased with my mortgage which has dropped another £1k since August so really looking forward to the first digit of that changing to an 8!
My overall aim for this year is to get rid of the credit card debt which currently stands at £3200 and pay off my ground rent which is currently about £900.
This will be quite a challenge, but with a couple of good months hopefully coming up without paying council tax etc. maybe I can make a good start if nothing else goes wrong!
I got over £260 for xmas so this has been paid into my account and am hoping that December and Jan will balance out in the positive.
I have quite a bit of food to keep me going and will be trying to last as long as I can before buying from the supermarket.
Fingers crossed I can get things moving. If all goes well I will pay off around £5.5k from my mortgage and credit card.
My plan is to keep track of my spending last year and make sure month on month I spend less.£4000 in 2011 - £48.88/£40000 -
Not a bad day... my 5 NSD in a row although I am not taking part in the challenge as yet, although think I should.
This month is going to be mega tough as trying so hard not to go into my overdraft which means spending about £200 less than I would in a normal month.
Have withdrawn £28.50 from my Topcashback account and am working on another $5 to withdraw from slicethepie. It's not much but I enjoy doing it and it's worth it as does not take long.
I got the wrong date for the interest starting on my Interest free credit card so have been charged £22 interest last month however it has mostly been cleared by moving the debt to my new Credit card which is interest free for the next year.£4000 in 2011 - £48.88/£40000 -
Just got the 2kg pork leg joint out the freezer ready for the weekend.
Not sure how many meals this will give me, but got it a couple of weeks back in Sainsbury reduced from £14.17 to £2.50!
I will need to buy some bread tomorrow probably which will end my NSD's.£4000 in 2011 - £48.88/£40000
