Doors now too short- ideas please?

As suggested above, just add a strip of timber to the base of the door and paint. Don't try fiddling about with adding to the upper part of the door frame or you will have to cut out new rebates for the hinges etc.0

How's that going to happen if its painted? THE OPs doors are currently painted.

i miss-read his post ..i read about the stripping etc ..and didnt read on to the bit about the painting ..
yup just add a strip...a little bit thicker than the door ..sand it down to the door and paint it then .

You can get draught excluders that are not brush.
And all you would need to do is run a damp cloth over them when you are cleaning your door to get rid of the hairs. They would be gone in 2 seconds. Seems the cheaper and least hassle to me0 -

I've only ever seen the ones with brushes on and yes- brushless ones would be a cheaper and easier option which would help right now, thanks0
