I've done HHG but as it is so lovely I'm going to do another HH and plant my new grape vine.

Off out to a birthday party today at a manic ceramics place where you paint a piece of china whilst chatting - must get something to take drink wise before I go.

Okay doakey. 4 bags of gibble decluttered to bin/charity. Room still not in a state to hoover, but moving on at last!
Made rock cakes of which there are now only 3 left. Yum (no, I didn't eat all of them!)
Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.

    Thread interloper alert!

    Hello ladies

Just to let you know that my best mate MsGnomey is through her operation.

Her DD is going up to see her later tonight so I've told her to pass on your best wishes - I'm sure she'll be delighted to know how much you were all thinking about her.

::slopes out of thread, looking somewhat guilty at the dustbunnies on her floor:: :rotfl:

I've been out most of the day cutting sticks, we were going to carry on but i think BIL is coming up to watch the football. So takeaway tonight and i think i'll spend abit of QT with DD. :D

I might even squeeze in abit of ebaying.

Happy Birthday to your DS Mumof5.
I'm glad to hear msgnomey is through her op.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Brilliant news Mags_cat - thanks for letting us know and please send all our love xxxx

Piano tuner has been and gone - £42:eek: but that's it for another 6 months!

I've budgeted, rebudgeted and then budgeted some more. I'm going to start a spending diary again and start looking at the 'no spend days' thread again if it's still going.

Kitchen spotless, clinic spotless, floors swept. Bit of apathy setting in now but will try and do another hhc.

    xx

Thank you for letting us know :A And also thank you for putting the capitals in - I'll now be able to remember Ms Gnomey, rather than thinking it was a mis-spelling of MSG Money ;)

Had a lovely time, tea, cake and scones with friends. Sadly I had to leave early as DD needed a lift to get her to work. I have been invited out to watch Strictly tomorrow, though :j

Going to do some tidying then I pack off the children for the evening

    :hello: Hello everyone.

Minimal flying done today. It was DS 16th birthday yesterday and tonight he has 5 mates round for a 'birthday bash'. So not much point in going OTT with the flying until they have all vacated tomorrow morning.

I am going out tonight for 2 or 3 hours. It's the only way I'll keep my sanity I think, and just hope and pray that the house is still standing when I come back.

On a further flying note I have purchased a brand new iron today!!:j:j:j It's a very pretty pink one!:j:j:j

Right off to get my glad rags on. Will catch up with you all tomorrow!

:rotfl:I'm glad you knew who I was talking about, then!

I'll be making sure she gets herself on the Flylady sick list when she gets out - all housework is delegated to her OH and DD until she's better.

Glad all is well with msgnomey..

My lovely friend Sally's embryo transfer went well with 2 very healthy looking 'babies'.. She has beentold not to test for 18 days from last friday I said I'm taking her a test next Friday and shoving her in the loo when I get there!.. cos I couldn't possibly wait another week.. some sticky-grow-into-a-baby vibes for her would be fantastic if you can all manage it

Away to OH's mums now so will be back late Sunday.. but may pop in to scare you before then!
