    Evening all

Sorry I missed you, msgnomey. Hope all goes well tomorrow.

Tea made and eaten, a couple of dailies started and DS2 has been in bed for a while. I'm going to have a short nap and then start work. Must meet deadline tomorrow.
I've had a bit of time with MG's thread (thank you for pointing it out - can't remember who mentioned it) and on here.

I now have a plan. I've got to save money for next year's hols, emergency fund and another potential expense. I also have to get the house sorted and streamline finances etc. By the time I've achieved all of this I should know which direction I'm heading in. Whatever I decide will affect several other people, most of all my DSs, so it's got to be right. I'm not normally good at waiting, but will have to be this time.

I'm looking forward to the weekend, hopefully this time without being ill. Have a good Friday, everyone.

    Evening all -

MSG I'll be thinking of you tomorrow and wishing you well. I'm glad so many friends and parents have been so thoughtful

Toots - thanks for the vote of confidence. There are 4 vacancies. Applications have to be in by 4pm tomorrow. If 4 or less apply then you automatically get it. If there are more than 4 then voting papers go out to parents in about a week so we will see.

Flying has been sparse today but I have done some cooking. Just having a pimms and then time for a spot of knitting. Each round is 140 stitches - I've done one round so far!
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

  • All good wishes for tomorrow msgnomey and toochoosey

Roofer worked really hard - started about 8am and left 6.15. Still has a bit more to do, but it is watertight.
Really glad I was out quite a bit - it sounded really scary when he was working overhead.
  • Hi All,

Usual story for me, hopelessly behind with the thread, but have been trying to catch up for several days. Please also excuse my lateness joining this week. After the week from hell in the office last week, I spent Sat & Sun catching up on all the missed flying in prep for the arrival of a dear freind on Sun eve(Very pleased with myself for tackling a major hotspot of long term gibble in the LR, - makes me smle every time I see the lamp table now! - Same with descaling of shower screen - YAY! :-)). Mon was then spent decluttering a local spa day with said freind (thanks lastminute for making that in budget, don't remember doing that before, but was total bliss. Mental note to self to use gym memebership more often, - if only to chill in the jacuzzi!). I then kidded myself that my efforts over the weekend would mean minimal effort was necessary this week, - Master Bedroom being Tues put paid to that! Where's this thread I can't find it :o

I have to do some serious flying today as it is my only day off this week - I'm off Sunday too but that day will be taken up with DD2 Birthday party, prep and execution!!! lol List printed out and also extras! Just gotta declutter both DDs off to school and then I shall start with the food shopping as there is barely a bean in the house - God knows where it all goes!

    I don't like this working for a living!!! :(:):(;)
