    Afternoon all

Not looked at the list yet (if I put the computer on too early I don't do anything...)

Today I've done the bathroom/toilet. One load of washing blowing round well in the sunshine. Cut the back grass and trimmed back the cotoneaster that was waving across the front path. Swept up.

Wrapped up two calendars and a mug that I bought yesterday for presents. That's all my Christmas presents bought and wrapped up. I got my cards after Christmas last year but I haven't written any yet. I got bags to put the presents in while I was out yesterday. I also got a tiny photo frame to hang on the Christmas tree and printed out a picture of the dog. We've got two that go on every year of our previous dog and cat and even if my baby isn't here in body at Christmas she'll be on the tree. Hopefully she'll still be with us. Sorry to be maudlin.

Lunch is cooking but I'll do some catching up now. Hope everyone's OK.

Must keep plodding on to get through this paperwork as I still can't find the driving licence but I just wanted to make sure Sunnygirl knows I am thinking of her friends little boy. Pleased to urge them when the time is right to get in touch with PostPals. Volunteers send parcels of suprises to the hospital for these brave little people and their siblings if the family wish to. 7 year olds especially seem to love it. Keeping you all in my thoughts x

Thanks for that...have googled and bookmarked the site. Had some news that he needs chemo for 6 months which is better than 2 years that it might have been. Going to see them tomorrow but I think he's feeling very poorly.

Thanks so much for all your good wishes and positive thoughts. It's great to know that everyone is here to support you when you need it.

Flyingwise...washing hung out, WM on with the next load and that's about it. Oh well, at least I got through the pile of washing on the armchair last night and sorted into washing to put away and ironing. Even that makes the lounge look a lot better.

Think I'll do a bit of knitting before the school run...there's so many babies due that I think there will be a few baby hats given for xmas presents.

    Afternoon all

Busy and bitty day here so have been dashing in and out and doing the odd 15 minutes of flying here and there. Surprised how much I've achieved. I've cycled everywhere I had to go and have handed in my application to be a governor at the secondary so fingers crossed pleased.

I've been for my knitting lesson which was fab so I can't wait for this evening when I'll have a little more time.

Off to do 15 more minutes in a minute then school run time, I need to pop in and see DS3's teacher and then haircuts and dinner to do.

Really looking forward to the next few days of trying to get some bits done outside.

  • Afternoon lovelies – sorry I haven’t posted or kept up for ages – lots (read that as TOO MUCH) has been going on in the graaaaaaaaaaaaaann family. Danny has been sent back to Munchengladbach – even though the General, Colonel and Major who came to see him at home specifically stated that he could stay in Catterick. So 5 days after he completed his first house purchase – cute little 2 bed terrace cottage in the heart of our village – off he drives to Munchengladbach. He hates it and has been asked to transfer to Catterick – the sergeant who is above him when he handed in his transfer asked him if he’d shot himself in the leg on purpose just so he could come home!:mad:!!!!!! – I am so livid on his behalf, he said he wanted to cry when he left. He won’t put in a formal complaint as he is an ar£e licker and is the golden boy. He now also won’t let Danny come home on leave for Chloe’ christening next month (he’s her godfather) so he’s going to see the families officer – he’s above him in ranks – and hopefully that will be sorted.
DD1 and Chloe are still with us. House should hopefully be ready in about 2 weeks. Just as well as I want to throttle DD2! Lots of silly behaviour – don’t want to go into details now as it will only make me mad again! Though is dong a good job of looking after Chloe.
DD2 don’t know if you remember me posting about her – well she’s been in hospital – so you know what that means. I hope she’s done the right thing for her
DH's DD wants to come and live with us again - can you remember the last time she wanted to? Er r - sorry love there's no room yet - though she and one of her mates who we haven't even met are coming to stay for the weekend next week and DD1 and Chloe are going to her Dad's as we haven't got room to swing a cat never mind 2 14 year old girls!
Good news at last! DH mum’s cancer had not spread to lymph nodes so at the end of this month starts radiotherapy.

Haven’t a clue what’s gone on so a quick low own would be appreciated!

Flying – err trying to keep on top of things and do a thorough bottoming when DD1 and Chloe move. This morning I did s/s kitchen, wash the kitchen floor and load wm and hang it out.

Much love to all especially Toots and LL xx
I promise when things calm down I will be back with a vengence!

well got home around 1:30, had lunch; pegged out washing (2nd load which wasn't finished before I left his morning - first load I pegged out in the mist) cleaned kitchen, bathroom and lounge, hoovered round upstairs and cleaned out my gerbils. kids have come home so DD was inspired to cklean out her gerbils.

Oh, and a lady in Welsh class became a Gran in the summer hols and the rest of us were talking about getting her something(her DD and DGD are living with her, the baby's dad is not on the scene). So I said I would make a nappy cake....need to do some proper pricing as I never know what to charge and think I am losing money rather than making a profit TBH. If this gets off the ground, then it will be a nice bit of pocket money(esp as I am losing 2 days(well lunchtimes!!) work) xx
