can't get out of my sky hd subscription but have typed letter to explain I will at least cancel my broadband. Am now lokoing for a suitable provider before I ask for my MAC address.

Absolutely unforgivable from SKY - totally ruined my watching of today's sessions in the ryder cup that I was just about to watch the culmination of.

I tend to agree with the OP. For a golf fan it is a big deal, and it was VERY unprofessional of sky to read out the scores.

It reminds me when ITV always used to flash the premier league scores on News at 10 without warning as BBC were just about to start the highlights show on BBC1. Gits they were!!!!

They gave out scores a few times, once during the Diaby injury and another time.

You could have watched it split screen if it meant so much to you.

I would suggest that watching a Sky Sports channel while trying to avoid information about what's happening on another Sky Sports channel might not have been your cleverest idea.

I'm not even sure Keys made a mistake in reading out the scores tbh.

If you wanted to see both the footy but the Ryder Cup was so important why didn't you watch the Ryder Cup coverage then watch one of the many replays of the football or even Match Of The Day on BBC later in the evening. You could have tried to avoid the match score ready for MOTD like the Likely Lads did in the 70's

Don't be disheartened by the response OP. Threads like this are like gold dust in the Vents forum especially on a Sunday when there's only boring golf on the telly. Everybody feels compelled to join in the fun with the consequence that people like youself get ripped to bits.

Hang around on MSE, wait for the inevitable 'I was tortured by security guards at Comet am I entitled to compensation' thread and enjoy the entertainment along with the rest of us.
