12 Month Mobile Contracts

Can you actually still get mobile contracts of just 12 months? And I don't mean SIM only. Handset subsidy 12 Month Plans.
They all seem to be 18 or 24 - Even worse I have seen is 36.

The cost of the phones has risen, so either the monthly payments have to go up or the minimum length has to rise to cover the cost (the phones are really 'free' you know).0
