Adding links to threads from Photobucket

Could anyone please explain in layman's terms how I can put things from Photobucket into a thread so that it shows as a link. I know how to put photos on but this is writing.

    log into your account

click share above the picture you want to link to

    click link code

go to IMG for bulletin boards and forums

hover over the text in that box

right click and select "select all"

come onto the forums and start a new thread/post and type a word that relates to the picture eg car and highlight it and click the picture of a glode and right click on the box then paste that text from earlier and click submit

    sorry its long winded

let me know if it helps

I think I've done it wrong. When I right clicked on the globe there was a little box with I think 'http' but not 'paste'. I went back to Photobucket and right clicked on where I'd done 'select all' and copied it. When I went back to the thread and this time when I clicked on the globe a long list of things came up including 'paste' which I selected but it didn't do anything.

when you click on the globe and that box appears delete whats in that box then right click on the white box then click paste then click ok

i take it once you start a new thread or a post you are typing a word then clicking on the globe

    Log into your account.
Click on share above the picture you want.
    Click on get link code.
Under IMG For Bulletin Boards and forums LEFT click on the writing that has IMG at the start of the box the writing turns blue.
    right click and select copy.

Goto wherever and select paste into the chat box then click on submit or enter etc to post the link.

Do you mean a link like that..? if so just do as i said under the direct link for layout pages section instead of the IMG for Bulletin Boards section.

I think I've done it now but should I be able to see it in the preview or will it only show when I've submitted it? When I click on it in the preview it says the webpage cannot be found.

Then you could not have copied it over correctly... DID the writing turn blue when you right clicked on it...?

No image tags required, just the url e.g. one
 Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:

Yes it turned blue. I've tried again and this time instead of clicking on the globe I've clicked on a word and I thought I'd cracked it as it came up like yours but when I submitted it the whole thing is showing instead of just a link.
