home heating - help please

My home is heated via an oil fired boiler which needs to be updated. I'm looking at buying an oil fired range that will give heat in the kitchen, incorporate the boiler - as well as being a cooker. What does anybody else with a range think?
I don't have a chimney in this area, will that be a problem?
