    Depends. If he has done a decent job then it sounds not too bad.
    Did you get ask for a quote from him, did he cold call you.
    I allways get a minimum 3 quotes for jobs that i cannot manage myself

    He might also charge for a minimum of 1hour's work. The fact that yours wasn't long is to his benefit, but you may still be charged for the hour.
