Insert a section of guttering , (about 3 inch piece ),he took about half an hour to do this.

Materials maybe no more than £4.00 if that.
Having the ladders, knowledge and time to do the job for you including travelling to you and travelling back again - £71.00
It's not unreasonable.0 -
He has to buy his van, insure it, tax it, buy fuel.
He probably has to insure himself for loss of earnings if he falls off his ladder.
Buy overalls, gloves for doing dirty work.
Seems reasonable.0 -
i also suppled the ladders mate .........my partner even stood on the bottom of the ladder (all size 10 of her)0

IF you weren't willing to go up there then £75 isn't a lot of money.0

i was at work when he arrived.......0

Seems a reasonable price to me... people have to earn a living and I don't think you were ripped off.0

Sounds fair to me...How much would you pay for the 5 minutes it would take for a high street solicitor to dictate a simple letter?Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

How much were you quoted for the work?
If it was in the region of £75 then no - you were not ripped off.0
