Are you suggesting we won't have cuts, wont have the VAT rise? Won't have higher unemployment next year? And that everything is going to carry on as it is now?0 -

Instead of prices falling and stagnating for years, supply dried up and prices rebounded strongly.
Housebuilding numbers fell off a cliff, population continues to increase, and rental prices are soaring.
And you seem to be loving it. Nothing to celebrate here, but you do. Why ?30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -

Don't these ghouls know that there's a website dedicated to such disastrous and preposterous economic predictions - housepricecrash. Or has someone left the cage door open again?0 -

Maybe its you who is intellectually challenged? As asked before please can you provide they evidence that FTB's are paying thousands more than Non FTB's and are being ripped off?
As far as I'm aware a FTB with a 15% deposit will probably get a better rate than a Non-FTB. Are you suggesting that all Non FTB's have 25% equity. I know few who have no equity and the odd one with negative equity.
Maybe you need to understand risk. People as groups have always paid more based on risk ie car insurance, home insurance etc. Borrowing money in reality is no different. NR were always well known for advertising a low rate for home loans but these often only applied to those with the best credit rating and sometimes the rate offered was double for some borrowers.
Maybe you should start a campagin for all those unfairly treated. What about those who can only get loans through payday companies? Maybe also some landlords should also be penalised for not renting to DSS etc. Maybe lenders should do away for underwriting procedures altogether and be forced to lend to anyone who wants to borrow regardless of status at the same rate. I'm sure you would happy to pay a higher mortgage rate to compensate for those who find themselves in trouble wouldn't you? Same with your car and home insurance etc?0 -
Only since it was mentioned as negative in a report last week. Don't think it's ever been mentioned prior to that.
Funny that....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
