Hollie84 - i got 3 of the sweet wrapper ends together and wrapped them around the end of the stick, and then secured it with florists tape ( i used that as it sticks to itself and is cheaper than double-sided). I then made a flower out of cellophane squares which i stuck the stick through the middle of and then gathered it around the sweets like petals. I just stuck lots of the finished flowers in a gold flower pot which was filled with oasis.
They always looked stunning as they were very rich colours - gold and purple
I made the same one with 3 other sweets as well such as raspberry ruffles, celebrations, sherbert fruits etc etc depending on the effect you wanted.

Thank you, i would have hated to upset anyone, i write lots of projects for die cutting on my you know what because the are a big investment and i want people to be able to use them to the full and not be scared of trying new things

todays project is this penduin card, people my not think they could make that using their machine so i do little tutorials for them

Been to Dunelm Mill today and picked up a cheap scolloped edge and circle punch - roughly the same size as flyingpigs for £4.99 each - great if your on a budget!!:D:D

craftfairies- I don't think you came across like that at all! You are just being helpful. I will be torturing you soon!! I've asked my OH to pretty please buy me a Bigshot for christmas, and he said ok!!! so excited!!! :j
I have decided on this above the other as it seems to do so much more! and space isn't an issue in my craft room.. il take over the whole house if needs be!!! :rotfl:
Before you start to feel bad... don't!! lol i will be able to use this all year round its not just for christmas things.. im getting REALLY into this crafting, and not only will I make use of it, my mum will also!! Craft superstore have a good deal on it at the min! hopefully get it bought this weekend!

I was VERY naughty last night and spent £27 on stash!! :eek: but i got LOADS for that and I can't wait til it arrives!!!
