The silver ones are Elizabeth Shaws, they also do them in gold, probably a bit nearer Christmas. I either get mine from Home Bargains or if they are on BOGOF I get them from the supermarket. Looks like a trip to Morrisons tomorrow :)

Flyingpig I would be honoured if you pinched my ideas lol after all I have borrowed a few from you in the past :) Gorgeous Christmas card, very elegant. Do you need the files for the handbag and the dog?

Emmamumof2 I have no idea which die you would need, sorry, I have a Silhouette Machine (Craft Robo) which uses Quickutz files. If you want a copy of the template just pm your email and I can send it to you. Craftfairies may by able to help you with the Big Shot Die

Here's my attempts are Reindeer poop. I don't have any fancy craft machines so cut the card myself and hand wrote the label. I think they come out ok for a little gift my son can give to his friends.

I got my Reindeer from a pack of Matalan gift tags which peeled off and still left a usable gift tag underneath I got 20 gift tags for £1.50 which had 5 reindeer tags in, the others were snowman, santa, a pengiun. So I might be able to do snowman poop if I find some borbons and pengiun poop too.
For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.

I'm going to be making a Christmas version of this soon. Going to have a search for some red and green fat quarters, I think.

I made something similar to this once. I used a star template and cut out stars from felt. It was from c and h fabrics and was red and green felt that had glitter on one side. I then threaded them all onto some chenille wool I had knotting inbetween and each side of each star and then hung them over book cases and things. To get them on the wool I did hole punch (origional eh! lol) a hole into the felt.
  • my oh bought me a craft robo to help me cut boxes etc but i've not really tried it out yet.

Likewise! I got a craft robo for my birthday back in january and i've still not used it. I wanted it desperately as i thought it more cost effective than buying lots of dies, but it's so technical.

Hello ladies (and gents if there are any ...)

This is my first ever post - YAY! :j Firstly, I want to shoot my sister for spamming me with tons of links. I have sat and read through this whole thread and am hooked ... Another 6 threads from her that I am yet to look at and go through ... Woe is me. ;) Its a good help for passing the time while little one feeds. :p

I absolutely love all the ideas in this thread ... I just have one MAJOR problem ... WHERE DO I START?! There are so many wonderful ideas in here that I am inundated with ideas ... Only good thing I am on maternity leave, so asides from looking after my 2 month old son, have time on my hands :D

I would like to say to you ladies who are doing school fetes, that to cover yourself, do put on your sweets about nuts (a definate must-do) and also that it does or does not contain artificial colours and flavours. As of July this year, legally certain E numbers needed to be highlighted if products contain them. (I used to work in a sweet shop, hence the small bit of knowledge - however not sure if they went through with the E numbers bit, as I left on maternity leave before that was due in.) But it will help cover you, incase some children have allergic reactions to nuts, or get hyper on certain additives.

Hollie craftfairies uses lots of die cutting machines and here's what she thought of the slice. I have a bug and a robo but did consider the big shot for the bigz dies although i thought the dies very expensive.

lilmiss those are fantastic. well done.

thankyou craft granny, looks like i have saved my partner :p £175

they dd have the big hot but may look into the cuttle bug, reason why i liked the slice was because it was very compact,is there any other machines like this that may be half decent?

I think the cuttlebug the big shot and the cricut are the most popular and i think the cuttlebug is the smallest although i haven't really looked at the cricut. The bug folds away quite small but lisa ( craftfairies ) is probably the best person to help.
