hi littlebit,
i never use a dispenser with my double sided tape. i just buy easy lift tape which has the backing a bit wider than the actual tape (it makes it so easy to peel the back off then).
I always by my tape from www.cuttingedgecrafts.co.uk - their prices are really reasonable and they offer free delivery on any size order. They are also really helpful if you need to ask them anything.
I use the payperbox tape (although it does not say easy lift it is really good tape which sticks to almost anything and the backing comes off really easily). It is also really good value for money and super strong.

There's a chat show on Ch5 weekday mornings, & they've had an advent calendar that's got huge bubble wrap over the numbers so you get a satisfying 'pop' every day
Their's looks like it was from a commercial outlet but I think it would be easy to make it yourself, cuz the one they've got is just white card with numbers 1-24/5 jumbled up & the 'bubble' over the number.
I'm going to have to experiment for next Dec 1st  as Muvva is a diabetic & my big sis is obsessed with bubble-wrap!

I was surprised to find that the Stix tape dispenser wasn't any good, I always thought their products were good quality. Quite a few of the girls (including myself) on the cardmaking thread have the 3m ATG 700 which works pretty well IF you use it the right way (voice of experience). If you accidently try to roll the tape the incorrect way, the tape can mangle up and you can waste a whole roll. Other than that, its pretty good.
If you are after an ATG glue gun I recommend the pink version which is on offer for £9.99 Pink version at the moment. The tape is thinner than with the yellow one, but there is an acid free version that is suitable for scrapbooking - the tapes are quite often on offer at 3 for 2 and they last a long time - much longer in length than a lot of tape runners.
The gun does take a bit of getting used to but I wouldnt be without mine now.

Perfect man is a gingerbread man in a cello bag with a poem
dog and cat treats are just as it says, bagged up treats for pets
monkey soup is similar to snowman soup but using chocolate milkshake powder, foam bananas and choc buttons for the smaller kids0 -
