Following on from my earlier post, this is what the Advent Calendar looks like on the wall hanger

I have made a few of the traffic cones prinzass. Took one to my craft group and was asked to make some for people who are non knitters. Think it;s a great idea and may make one for each of the men in the family for Christmas.

Good luck with the Advent Calendar. I didn't do the Alan Dart tree as it would be hard to store, so made mine with felt.

I've spent the last few days reading this thread - such amazing ideas!!!

Last night I confirmed my stall at the xmas fairs so now busy making things. Working on beaded snowflakes today.

Keep up the good work all! can't wait to see what people come up with this year :)

I have my first xmas stall next week, I mainly do nappy cakes but always fill my stall with smaller sale things to cover costs, going to finish doing my my beaded snowflakes, and hopefully make a lolly topiary tree if I remember to get the lollies :)

Will have to pop for ES mints next week but will keep them for November I think :)

    Hi All

Good to see this is still alive and kicking, what a busy (but fun) year last year we had, I am hoping to add some new stuff this year to the collection, I was very very busy last year and done well, I saw ES mints, milk & dark in Home Bargains yesterday for 1.65 and choc oranges but never saw how much they were, I am hoping I can do most of the stuff I done las year with the exception of the brown rudolph boxes as there was too much cutting out involved and ever so time consuming.
Tea bag & coffee cards were a big seller as was the snowman soups and little dairy milks. I will also be adding some random hampers to my stall this year and on the lookout for cheap felt for the CDM snowmen as they were also a big hit. What soap do you all use for your reindeer flannel as I imagine that could turn out costly to make?

I picked up 6 bars of Dove soap in Asda today for £2 - so just over 33p a bar which I didn't think was too bad...
